REVIEW | Too Faced Life’s a Festival Range

Hellooo, everyone! I don’t know about you, but my social media feeds have been inundated with impossibly glam photos of chic, beautiful, people partying it up at Coachella. Whilst I’ve been stuck in rainy little England feeling sorry for myself, I have been having a play with Too Faced’s dazzling Life’s a Festival range to get in the spirit of things. This limited edition collection of products was released in the UK a few months ago, so I’m a tad late to the soirée but thought I’d share my thoughts on it with you lovely lot anyway!

Eyeshadow Palette | £35

I am completely besotted with this palette! The shadows are beautifully pigmented, gorgeously iridescent and brilliantly blendable. There’s a top notch mix of matte and shimmery shades, but the truly magical thing about these colours is that they’re so light reflective that you can wear just one of the shimmer shades and it looks like you’ve dedicated some major time and effort to blending several colours perfectly together! I’m a huge fan of this palette and even though some of the colours look a bit out there, it’s an extremely wearable range that you can make as subtle or festival-wild as you desire!

La Creme Mystical Effects Lipsticks | £18

These lipsticks are pretty darn special; they adapt to your own body chemistry so each shade is slightly unique to its wearer. I picked up two shades, Unicorn Tears and Mermaid Tears; the first being a pale blue colour that develops to a pearlescent lilac sheen over time, which I adore. Mermaid Tears looks like a deep emerald green upon initial application, but develops to an iridescent purple once it settles. They’re both beautiful colours, my only criticism would be that they’re not very moisturising so you need to wear plenty of lip balm before using them.

Magical Crystal Lip Toppers | £16

There are four shades of these beautiful glossy lip toppers. You can wear them alone for a subtle pop of pearly, magical colour or you can slide them over the top of any of your own lipsticks to enhance and edit the tone of your lip colour. I chose Angel Tears, which is a stunning peachy pink that I’m getting scarily obsessed with!

The rest of the range is equally mystical, but I haven’t purchased anything else for myself – yet. If there’s anything you fancy, make sure to treat yourself because it’s limited edition so once it’s gone, it’s gone! Too Faced’s other offerings in this line are as follows:

Unicorn Tears Holographic Bronzer | £25

A deep bronzer with a highlighting unicorn incorporated into the pan for added cuteness!

Magic Rainbow Strobing Brush | £30

A beautiful brush with a lilac handle and cruelty free, vegan friendly rainbow bristles! It’s on my wish list for sure.

Festival Rainbow Strobe Highlighter | £25

A rainbow highlighter. I repeat, a rainbow highlighter! What more could you want?!

Have you treated yourself to anything from the Life’s a Festival range or are you planning to? Let me know in the comments below!

Oooo I love how you’ve used this palette. I was wondering what the colour payoff would be like because I expected it to be a bit too sheer.
